PivotCore Terminal Documentation

This user guide explains how to connect, configure, and use the PivotCore trading tools on Deriv. It provides detailed workflow steps, configuration variables, and safety guardrails to enforce mathematical trading discipline.

System Requirements
  • • A registered account on Deriv.com (Demo or Real)
  • • Modern desktop/mobile web browser
  • • Stable, low-latency internet connection
Prerequisites

Familiarity with contract pricing, volatility indices (V10–V100), ticks, and basic risk management parameters is highly recommended.

1. Account Connection Workflow

Authorizing Deriv API integration

PivotCore integrates directly with Deriv via their secure client-side API. To connect your account and start receiving analysis:

Step 1: Initiate OAuth Login

Click the "Login with Deriv" button located in the top navigation bar of any PivotCore trading screen.

Step 2: Broker Authorization

You will be redirected to the secure Deriv OAuth portal. Input your broker credentials and approve permissions. PivotCore receives a temporary session token (never your password).

Step 3: Verification & Sync

Once redirected back, the navigation bar will update to display your unique login ID, active balance, and currency. Switch between Real and Demo funds seamlessly via the account dropdown.

2. MinuteFlow Terminal

Trend Continuation Pullback Analyzer

Overview

MinuteFlow maps short-term candlestick structures to scan for directional pullback opportunities. It draws Support/Resistance bounds and overlays swing highs/lows.

Usage Workflow

1 Configure parameters

Select your volatility index and analysis timeframe (1m to 1H). Set Strategy to ALL (auto-pick). Check the Market Structure boxes to display charts with price swing alerts.

2 Signal Execution

The center signal bar will update when conditions are met. Look for the direction (UP ↑ / DOWN ↓), trigger strategy, and the recommended contract expiry duration.

3. Trend Signal

Multi-Timeframe Momentum Tracker

Overview

This module is optimized for high-probability setups. By cross-referencing multiple timeframes (EMAs align on 1m, 5m, and 15m), Trend Signal filters out consolidation noise.

Expert Stacking Rule

Only take trades on MinuteFlow when the Trend Signal indicator confirms momentum in the matching direction. Aligning both models dramatically increases historical backtested accuracy.

4. Digit Signal

Tick Digit Distribution Quantizer

Overview

Optimized for Matches/Differs and Over/Under trades. The panel samples the final decimal digits (0–9) of price ticks in real-time.

Sample Size Parameter

Adjust the tick scope (e.g. 50, 100, or 500 ticks). A smaller scope tracks rapid anomalies, while a larger scope confirms long-term mathematical averages.

Low vs High Ratios

Monitors the distribution of values 0–4 versus 5–9 to help you identify heavy statistical biases towards high or low digits before entry.

5. Pulse Signal

Short-Term Market Pressure Gauge

Overview

Pulse Signal monitors second-by-second changes in volatility. By comparing buyer/seller pressure coefficients, it calculates whether index movement is undergoing momentum breakout or exhaustion.

Dynamic Meters

The real-time gauge turns red when bearish volume peaks and green when bullish momentum accelerates. Use this metric to verify trade execution speed. If pressure matches your signal, entry is optimal.

6. Accumulator Quant Terminal

Compounding Payout Options Terminal

Overview

Accumulators offer compounding payout growth. As long as the price stays within a narrow range from the previous tick, your payout grows exponentially tick-by-tick.

Growth Parameter Setup

Choose your compounding rate (e.g., 1% to 5%). Higher rates grow stakes rapidly but have narrow tolerance bands, increasing stop-out risk.

Manual Close & Limits

Define a payout target threshold (Take Profit) in the parameters or manually click "Close Contract" on the terminal once your target ticks are achieved.

7. Multipliers Terminal

Leveraged Option Quant System

Overview

The Multipliers module applies dynamic leverage (up to x1000) on volatility movements. You gain amplified returns when the index moves in your direction, with losses strictly limited to your initial stake.

Leverage & ATR Constraints

Select a leverage multiplier (x100 to x1000). Set Stop Loss and Take Profit levels based on recent market ATR variance to prevent premature stop-outs.

Active Positions Manager

Monitor running trades in real-time. Use the terminal grid to check ticks, track running P/L, adjust stop loss levels, or close positions manually.

8. Money Management & Risk Controls

Disciplined Capital Protection Models

Auto-execution is governed by your choice of money management staking models. Configure these variables inside the settings panel before initiating Auto-Trading:

Binary Compounding Management (BCM)

Derived from the Masaniello equation. Rather than raising stakes exponentially on loss, BCM recalculates staking coefficients dynamically. You specify:

  • Risk Capital: Total allocation for the current cycle.
  • Total Trades: The scope of the series (e.g., 20 trades).
  • Target Wins: Expected wins required to complete cycle (e.g., 11 wins).

Martingale

Classical multiplication staking. On a recorded contract loss, the terminal multiplies the subsequent trade stake by your factor parameter (default: 2.1x). Staking resets immediately on a win.

Built-in Guardrails (Mandatory)

To protect against market anomalies, define the daily safety locks:

  • Max Daily Loss Limit: Absolute currency threshold. Once hit, the session terminates immediately.
  • Max Daily Trades: Maximum total contract iterations allowed per 24 hours.

9. FAQ & Best Practices

Common setups & broker guidelines

Does PivotCore guarantee profits?

No. All trading models have statistical variance. PivotCore is designed as an analytical terminal to assist in decision-making and enforce strict trade size constraints. Always backtest strategies on Demo funds first.

Why did my BCM session reset automatically?

BCM sessions will reset if: (a) you exceed the designated number of losses where mathematically the target wins cannot be met, (b) you reload the browser tab (which clears temporary session states), or (c) you hit your Max Daily Loss limit.

Can I use PivotCore on mobile devices?

Yes. The PivotCore terminal and charts are fully responsive. Note that mobile background processing varies; do not lock your phone screen while Auto-Trading is active to ensure the websocket connection stays live.
